How can India’s political elite engage young voters?
Rohit Sinha calls for MPs to develop a new framework of interaction to channel young Indians’ growing appetite for politics
Institutional reform and public services: the case of Delhi
Rohit Sinha highlights Delhi’s urban governance challenges and calls for institutional reform and technology-enabled public service delivery in the state
The power of public service predictability in urban contexts
Rohit Sinha and Anahita Das demonstrate how improving the predictability of service delivery has benefits for both citizens and the government. Any trade-offs would be outweighed by benefits such as better management of public business, improved citizen trust in government and increases in the economic output of Indian cities
Can social trust improve governance in India?
Rohit Sinha and Saurabh Gupta point to citizen-led initiatives that could help bridge the trust deficit between India’s political elite and the electorate
Activation Energy Calculation for Li2TiO3 Ceramics by Java Programming and Validation by Impedance Analyzer
In present work, problem of calculating activation energy of blanket material of the fusion energy reactor is successfully addressed. This kind of work needs a reactor which is not easily available for real experimental shot. A java computer programming was used to solve the problem. Activation energy calculation for fusion energy blanket material was done by a java programming and experimental validation was carried out by impedance analyser. Lithium titanate (Li2TiO3) ceramics pebbles were prepared by a novel method of sol. gel followed by urea-aceton spherodization technique. Lithium titanate having monoclinic phase was obtained. DTA/TG analysis of green sample was carried out to know the thermal reactions. Calcination temperature was determined as 6000 C. Activation energy was calculated as 2.59 x 10-18 ev/mole. Validation of this calculation was done by measuring impedance and by applying Arrhenius equation
